AM2302 Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Description

The AM2302 is a highly precise temperature and relative humidity sensor. The sensor is factory calibrated therefore easy to interface with the microcontrollers. It come as a 4 pin package.  It is only 3 pins out of the four that are usable. The AM2302 can measure temperature from -40 ° C to 80° C and humidity from 0 % to 100 %. The accuracy of  the sensor are ±1 ° C and ±1 % respectively. It is highly stable with low power consumption. The sensor is temperature compensated.

• It has an Operating voltage of 3.5 V to 5.5 V
• It has an Operating current of  0.3 mA
• Also has  a standby current of 60 uA
• In addition to that, it has a Digital signal output
• It also has an Average sensing period of 2 s
• To add on that, it has a Longer transmission distance
• Moreover, has a Measurable temperature range of -40 ° C to 80 ° C
• Also has a Measurable humidity range of 0 % to 100 %
• Last but not least, has a Temperature accuracy of ±0.5 ° C
• Lastly, has a Humidity accuracy of ±1 %
